Volleyball Match Cancelled? (9/30/10)
.....
Yes. That's right. A volleyball match
cancelled and the reason is a first. Due to rain. The entire district was
dismissed early due to possible flooding. One other similar issue happened a
few years back when we had to stop a match with New Oxford when the roof
started leaking.
The match has been rescheduled for
Monday, October 11 at Spring Grove.

Another Great Penn State Trip (8/4/10)
.....
Following a short morning practice, the
team headed for Penn State. After a lunch stop in Harrisburg, the squad
rolled into Happy Valley. A home football game provided a busy atmosphere to
say the least. Pictures at the Nittany Lion, downtown shopping and a trip to
the Creamery, quickly filled up the time prior to the match. Often we felt
like salmon swimming upstream, as we traveled against the flow and mass of
people. Finally came the highlight of the trip, as we settled into Rec Hall.
While the match was an easy win for Penn State against VCU, it was still an
exciting night to see the 2010 version of Penn State.

Season Opens With A Win (8/3/10) .....
While many headed to the Friday night
football game at Cumberland Valley, the volleyball team was busy opening the
season at home against York Suburban. A three game win, by scores of 25-12,
25-7, 25-7, gave the team a chance to get their feet wet before opening the
season next week against Spring Grove and Dover. |

upcoming season.

Bacon, Hannah Brillhart, Taylor Flatau and Tayler Vebares take a break from practice in the fieldhouse. |
